Together – Charting a New Beginning!
This is the 26th anniversary of the annual RBC Multicultural Festival and, to coincide with the festival's new setting on the Halifax waterfront, our theme is "Together – Charting a New Beginning!"
A desire to explore the variety of cultures which shape and influence our community has made the RBC Multicultural Festival into a much-anticipated environmentally friendly family event in the summer. Each year, the festival draws more than 600 artists and performers from many diverse cultures living in Nova Scotia and elsewhere, including approximately 700 volunteers and over 18,000 visitors for the three-day event. This year’s festival will feature main-stage performances by more than 30 cultural groups, a showcase of colorful cultural costumes, a special series of dance and music workshops, an international food tent, and terrific musical performances!
